Juggling a team, a vision, a crisis… all before breakfast.
Turns out, the real superpower wasn’t any of that.
It was knowing when to rest.
But rest doesn’t look impressive on a calendar.
You can’t really brag about “staring at the ceiling and re-regulating your nervous system.”
Still, it works.
Because when leaders are always “on,
”their teams feel it.
Rushed decisions. Short fuses. Foggy thinking disguised as confidence.
The best leaders I’ve coached weren’t the busiest.
They were the ones who knew how to pause. Breathe. Step back.
And then come back stronger.
Rest is underrated. Until burnout makes it mandatory.
So… what’s your version of rest that actually works?
(Not the one you pretend works on your LinkedIn bio).
